Which programs we participate in

Skin&Say is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

We may also participate in other affiliate programs run by retailers, brands, or affiliate networks (such as ShareASale, Impact, Rakuten, and similar). Where we do, the same rules apply: the link is only added because we've reviewed the product and think it's worth considering.

How to spot an affiliate link

We flag affiliate links in-context, with a note in the article, a marker on the link, or both, in addition to the footer disclosure on every page. If you're ever unsure whether a link is an affiliate link, assume that any outbound link to a retailer may be.

How this affects our recommendations

It doesn't. We choose what to write about and what to recommend based on research and our own honest assessment. If we can't recommend a product in good conscience, we don't link to it, even when a commission would be available. We do not accept payment for placement, positive reviews, or preferential coverage.
